INSPIRED :: DESTINATION OPEN ROAD

Last week a group of my friends and I took off on a mini road trip to Joshua Tree & then Malibu for a friend's project. I forgot how nice it is to drive on an open road of unfamiliar places. The people you meet & the places you discover, make it well worth you're time. A little recap of our first day included finger licking BBQ, a hasty thunderstorm, rock climbing, desert roaming, and boots full of sand. Although I grew up with ocean views, there's something beautifully different about desert scapes. Scenic spaces that go on for miles on end are my favorite!! The second day we drove up to Malibu where we spent most of our time on the beach. It was my first time to Malibu & I'd have to say I want to go back already! Nothing better than empty beaches!! It sort of reminded me of Hawaii. As I'm typing this I'm in Puerto Nuevo, Mexico! I can't wait to share my next trip with you, but for now enjoy these little snapshots I captured.
